TACV flights extend to Natal to João Pessoa

22/12/2015

The Cape Verdean air carrier TACV officially announced two more destinations for Northeast Brazil – Natal and João Pessoa – totalling four state capitals connected with Europe via Cape Verde. The flight to Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte, took to the air on 30th October while the connection to João Pessoa, the state capital of Paraiba, took place on 20 November. The new lines had already been mentioned by NewsAvia

The announcement of the two new destinations happened shortly after the first TACV flights to Recife, state of Pernambuco, held on June 5. The airline shows a strong commitment in the Northeast of Brazil with its four destinations to Fortaleza, Recife, João Pessoa and Natal – Recife, Joao Pessoa and Natal are within a few hours drive from each other.

But TACV argues that the Brazilian Northeast will have four cities connected with Europe with African airline. In a statement, the company management said that in the state of Paraíba, flights gain additional importance because for the first time, João Pessoa will have regular intercontinental flights offering weekly connections to major European cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Milan.
